A Bit About Us

Twin Lakes Ranch Ministries (TLRM) is a faith-based, non-profit ministry located just minutes from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, along the #1 Highway of Heroes.

Founded by Ron and Lorna Silvester, TLRM was born out of a desire to share the love of Jesus and help people discover the future and hope God has for their lives (Jeremiah 29:11). What began 45 years ago with a heart to minister to youth has grown into a multi-faceted ministry that has touched people of all ages.

Throughout the years, camps have always held a special place in the heart of TLRM. The Ranch has developed into both a working ranch and an Apostolic Resource Centre—a place where people can encounter Jesus, receive healing and restoration, grow in their faith, and be equipped to fulfill their God-given calling and destiny.

TLRM has offered Bible camps, youth rodeos, horse clinics, trail rides, conferences, ministry meetings, training opportunities and our regular weekly Word of Faith Night. Our outdoor arena, horses and ranch setting have provided unique opportunities to share the Gospel and minister to children, youth, adults and families.

The horses have also played an important role in the ministry, helping create an atmosphere where barriers can come down and people can experience encouragement, healing and hope.

Over the years, what began with a simple vision for trail rides and youth ministry grew into a place for camps, conferences, equestrian events, discipleship, mentoring, fellowship and practical training. Through it all, the heart has remained the same: to present Jesus, love people and help them walk by faith.

Twin Lakes Ranch Ministries is overseen by a dedicated Board of Directors who love Jesus and are committed to seeing the vision and mandate of TLRM continue into the future.

For Ron and Lorna, ministry has never simply been something they do—it has been their life’s calling. Together with their family, including their two daughters, son-in-law, eight grandchildren and two great-granddaughters, they are thankful for God’s faithfulness throughout 45 years of ministry and look forward to continuing to serve His Kingdom in the years ahead.

Mission Statement

Twin Lakes Ranch Ministries exists to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to train, equip and encourage people of all ages to walk in their God-given calling and destiny.

Located in the heart of Western Canada, TLRM has used the unique setting of a working ranch, along with equestrian activities and a variety of ministry programs, as opportunities for outreach, discipleship, mentoring and practical Christian training.

Through camps, conferences, training schools, mentoring, rodeo events, trail rides, suppers, campfires and other gatherings, TLRM seeks to help people grow in the areas of discipleship, healing and restoration, leadership, missions and evangelism.

Our desire is not only for people to experience healing, freedom, fellowship and spiritual growth, but also to equip believers to carry the love and truth of Jesus into every area of society—including family, education, church, government, media, business, arts and entertainment.

TLRM has always had a heart for its community and for partnering with other Kingdom ministries and leaders.

As seasons change, our methods may change, but our mandate remains the same: to give people a future and a hope, to point them to Jesus, and to equip them to fulfill the calling God has placed upon their lives.
